Having humble beginnings as a small PC Game cheat & trainer site back in 1998, the original site quickly outgrew the free hosting site it was featured on, lacking the time to update the site (due to work & study commitments), the pin was eventually pulled on the site, although the site remained online for several years (albeit with bandwidth limits) without any updates. The original site was later relaunched as GamePatchPlanet.com and what you now see is the cumulative work from both the original site and the newer additions. Another focus of GamePatchPlanet is to provide fixes and patches for games that are no longer supported by game developers or publishers, this is especially useful for gamers who want to play PC games on modern PC's and operating systems which have accelerated hardware, higher definition specs and widescreen monitors which are are common place in today's computer world. |
