| About this site GPP brings you all the latest in PC gaming, no flashy images, just the downloads you need! I am trying to keep the site ad free, as the site is merely a hobby in which I can express my passion for gaming and enhance that gaming experience for others, I try to keep it ad free, so please, any contribution towards the site would be greatly appreciated! I try to keep the site as image free as possible, this ensures fast loading times on pages, and less server usage. Having humble beginnings as a small PC Game cheat & trainer site back in 1998, the original site quickly outgrew the free hosting site it was featured on, lacking the time to update the site (due to work & study commitments), the pin was eventually pulled on the site, although the site remained online for several years (albeit with bandwidth limits) without any updates. The original site was later relaunched as GamePatchPlanet.com and what you now see is the cumulative work from both the original site and the newer additions. Another focus of GamePatchPlanet is to provide fixes and patches for games that are no longer supported by game developers or publishers, this is especially useful for gamers who want to play PC games on modern PC's and operating systems which have accelerated hardware, higher definition specs and widescreen monitors which are common place in today's computer world. |

As many gaming websites turn their back on PC gaming of the past, I think it's important to breathe life back into, or at the very least preserve these classic games a lot of us played in the 1990's, 2000's and beyond. It was these games that influenced and gave birth to what we now know as the modern game, and WOW, how far gaming has come with the amazing life-like graphics, massive free-roam worlds and incredibly clever AI. So if you have one of these classic games sitting around somewhere, grab it out, dust the cover off, install it and grab one of the various downloads from GamePatchPlanet and start having some fun all over again! |

the trainer makers!! I have seen far too many sites over the years do nothing to support the trainer scene and trainer makers that release their trainers for free. I have even seen sites give no credit what so ever to the trainer maker, I have even seen some sites remove trainer .nfo & readme files which has credits to the trainer makers and I have even seen sites add their own info and links to the trainer archives to give the appearance it is their release. I get a lot of files submitted to which I never remove or add files. I do not make money off this site, it's not the purpose, please if you have liked using one of the trainers, send the trainer maker a donation and show them your support! |

about some game blogs & sites with surveys & questionnaires It has been brought to my attention that there are a lot of blogs and sites that are appearing on the internet that are offering trainers and other game files but require you to fill out surveys & questionaries to access the trainers & game files, you then download what you think is a trainer or game file but is actually an adware tool that installs unwanted software, toolbars & ads in your internet browser - you have been warned, stay away from these blogs & sites! GamePatchPlanet never requires you to fill out surveys or questionaries and you never have to download additional programs or tools to access the files from this site. |

If you feel something is misplaced, spelt incorrectly, incorrect version, a missing link, or information is incorrect I want to hear about it, I am trying to make the site as accurate as possible and without user contributions and assistance this is not possible, so please, if something is not right please email! |
